Dutch lessons for your whole family, with one flexible monthly plan
Every family is different.
One child may already speak some Dutch, another may just be starting, while one or both parents would also like to learn.
With Family Dutch Flex, you do not need separate subscriptions for every family member.
Instead, your family receives one shared monthly package of Family Credits that can be divided flexibly between parents and children.
The credits belong to the family — not to one individual person.
This means that if one family member temporarily needs fewer lessons, another family member can use the available lesson time. New family members can also join later without having to start a completely new programme.
Especially suitable for international families
Family Dutch Flex is available for families whose main language is English, Spanish or German.
This means Monique can communicate directly with both parents and children in a familiar language when necessary, while helping each family member gradually use more Dutch.
That can be especially helpful when:
- young children are complete beginners;
- parents have questions about school or Dutch education;
- family members have different Dutch levels;
- one parent speaks more Dutch than another;
- several family members want to learn at the same time.
One family. One flexible plan. Personal guidance in English, Spanish or German.
How Family Credits work
1 Family Credit = 60 minutes of tuition for an adult or older child.
Younger children usually benefit from shorter lessons:
- Adult: 60 minutes = 1 credit
- Child from approximately 7 years: 60 minutes = 1 credit
- Young child aged 4–6: 45 minutes = 0.75 credit
- Young child: 30 minutes = 0.5 credit
This makes it possible to create a programme that truly fits the age, concentration span and learning needs of each family member.
Family Start

• €240,- price / month
• A good starting point for one or two family members.
Family Plus

• Ideal when several family members want to participate. Recommended for many families.
Family Intensive

Flexible by design
Family Dutch Flex is designed to move with your family.
- The monthly credits belong to the family.
- Family members can join or temporarily stop without extra registration costs.
- Together with Monique, you decide how the credits are divided.
- You can increase or decrease your package per calendar month.
- Up to 2 unused credits can be carried over for one month.
- Additional credits can be booked for €30 per credit.
- The programme is cancellable monthly with one month’s notice.
The hours belong to the family, not to one individual family member.
An example
A family with two young children and two parents could, for example, divide a Family Plus package like this:
- Son aged 6: four 45-minute lessons = 3 credits
- Daughter aged 4: four 30-minute lessons = 2 credits
- Parent 1: three 60-minute lessons = 3 credits
- Parent 2: three 60-minute lessons = 3 credits
That uses 11 of the 12 monthly credits.
The remaining credit could be used for an extra lesson, a joint conversation session or additional support for one of the children.
First, let’s talk
Every family has different needs.
Before recommending a programme, Monique prefers to speak personally with the parents.
This first conversation can take place in English, Spanish or German, depending on what feels most comfortable for your family.
During this conversation you can discuss:
- the ages of your children;
- your current Dutch levels;
- the children’s school situation;
- what the parents would like to achieve;
- how often you would like lessons;
- how the Family Credits could best be divided.
After this conversation, Monique can suggest a suitable starting programme.

Personal, practical and involved
Learning a language becomes much easier when you feel comfortable enough to use it.
Monique offers personal educational guidance to children, parents and families. Her approach is warm, practical and tailored to each learner.
She can communicate with international families in English, Spanish and German, which makes it easier to understand the family’s situation and to give clear explanations when Dutch is still new.
For international families, she looks not only at language level, but also at school, family life, confidence and how Dutch is used in everyday situations.
